Plastic Pollution caused by water bottles.
Pollution, From Plastic water bottles is a serious problem.
We throw away plastic bottles after use, this includes, bottles of soft drinks, Mineral water, etc.
The thrown away plastic bottles cause a huge environmental problem here, like every other plastic products, these things won’t degenerate naturally, if we try burn it, it’ll create another problem called air pollution. Whatever we do, this plastic bottle will cause a problem, it creates water pollution, when you throw it into water, and cause soil pollution when we throw is around.
You can use paper cans instead of that, Tropicana, Frooty( Parle ) etc. are already using this paper cans to deliver their products.
It may cost a bit much more, say 1 or 2 rupees raise in the production cost, but can compensate from other costs, wholesaler is taking at least 100% profit from the delivery, it may reduce to 90% or 80%
Let’s see how costly these bottles are, take mineral water for an example
Firstly
You can produce a bottle of mineral water less than 2 Indian Rupees
You need to pay Rupees 1 for the bottles when it is bulk delivered it to you. You need to buy about 10000 bottles at least to get this offer,
Then you need to buy its wrappers and caps, a cap will roughly cost 0.1 Rs to 0.5 Rs. Wrapper will be about 0.1 Rs to 0.25 Rs, but you need to bulk order , atleast 10000 pieces to get this offer,
Now you need processed water, which will roughly cost .50 Rs per Litre in here,
Then you need packing machinery working, which will also cost less than .50 Rupees when you produce it industrially.
So your packing cost is 2 Rupees to 3 Rupees,
The production company sell this Mineral water bottles to wholesales with their profit added. Just imagine,
